Galaxy S23, Galaxy Book 3, etc
Samsung held its first Unpacked event for 2023during this period, the company started operating Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra. At the same time, Samsung strengthened its ecosystem by updating the MacBook line competitor. Galaxy Book range.
There’s a lot to talk about, and nothing here will come cheap. Although Samsung may rise to the top of the Android market by offering budget smartphones, the devices that make headlines are often the company’s most expensive and most innovative devices.
Galaxy S23 Ultra
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is the flagship here and has all the bigger stuff. The biggest and brightest screen, the biggest camera Samsung has ever used, the biggest storage capacity and the biggest battery. This is an Ultra smartphone, so expect ultra products and ultra prices.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra is equipped with a 6.8-inch Quad HD screen. It’s an AMOLED screen like everyone else flagships Samsung and it comes with 120Hz variable refresh support. Design-wise, this big screen is housed in a chassis that looks very similar to the S22 Ultra. Samsung isn’t reinventing the wheel here. The S22 Ultra looked good, so why not do the same with the S23 Ultra?
The cameras have been significantly improved. Finally, the main photo sensor. The other cameras keep the same 10-megapixel resolution as last year, while the ultra-wide camera is a 12-megapixel photo sensor. What Samsung does here is add a new 200-megapixel camera lens. With oversampling, you’ll be able to get a lot of detail in your photos and take 200-megapixel photos if you want. More pixels means more data, and the S23 Ultra will be Samsung’s best smartphone for collecting image data. Samsung offers other features to accompany this new photo sensor, notably A night mode called Nightographythanks to the new sensor, very high quality photos and 8K videos, etc.
Equipped with all these The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor that Qualcomm just introduced. With its accompanying 8GB of RAM (increasing to 12GB if you buy the 512GB or 1TB models), the smartphone will last Samsung’s suggested four years (five for security updates). A large 5000 mAh battery with support for wired or wireless fast charging completes the S23 Ultra.

Galaxy S23 and S23+
The Galaxy S23 and S23+ are Samsung’s flagships. Give up all your dreams of super high resolution images, Quad HD screens, large sensors and the S Pen. If you want Ultra features, you pay Ultra prices.
The S23 and S23+ are minor updates to last year’s S22 and S22+. That means you get a comfortable, compact 6.1-inch screen on the S23 and a larger 6.6-inch screen on the Plus. Apart from the battery, the two devices share a number of features in common. The S23+ is actually a larger model of the S23 for those who want the S23 but don’t want to pay the price of the S23 Ultra (and there may be fewer of them than you think).
As for the specifications, The S23 and S23+ have the same camera setup as last year. There is a 50-megapixel primary camera paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera. That 50-megapixel camera works like the 200-megapixel cameras on the S23 Ultra, so your photos should be analog most of the time. The main issue here is for those who use RAW photos, which makes the S23 Ultra a higher cap than the S23 and S23+.
In conclusion, the S23 is equipped with a 3900 mAh battery with fast charging, while the S23+ is equipped with faster charging and a larger battery. The standard S23 comes with 128GB, while the S23+ comes with 256GB of primary storage.
The Galaxy S23 and S23+ can be pre-ordered today for €959 and €1,219 respectively.and both are available in black, cream, green and lavender.
