Affordable and comfortable headphones
Realme Buds Air 3 Neo represents the “Lite” counterpart of Realme Buds Air 3. So they basically use the same design, with more rounded bodies and a slightly slimmer size. They’re also lighter at just 4 grams per earbud, and their in-ear format provides good support in the ear canal. Therefore, it is not a problem to wear it for several hours without feeling any particular discomfort.
On the autonomy side, the headphones can have up to 7 hours of playback per earbud, which is a performance for this price placement. In comparison, Nothing Ear (1) is less effective in this respect even without noise reduction. If we add the case, we can go up to 30 hours. For charging, the manufacturer declares that it takes only 10 minutes to restore 2 hours of additional listening.
Great sound especially for the price
No, the Buds Air Neo from Realme does not compete with the best references from Sony or Bose. Obviously, it was necessary to compromise with such a price. Initially, they are content with SBC and AAC codecs, but this is enough for streaming audio playback. Note that they are compatible with Dolby Atmos, but we still have doubts about rendering after activation.
