And this year again, there’s something for everyone and every budget. If you want to start the year with a new model, take advantage of one of the best plans we have selected without delay.
Winter sales of smartphones: crème de la crème
On Samsung:
Samsung Galaxy M23 128GB 5G for €199 instead of €299 at Cdiscount

Samsung Galaxy M23 5G
The Samsung Galaxy M23 5G is one of the cheapest 5G-enabled smartphones on the market. It offers a large screen, offers decent performance and has a triple rear photo sensor.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 128GB 5G for €399 instead of €659 at Cdiscount (-€50 with code SFETV23 for CDAV members)

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G
The Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (5G) is priced slightly higher by Samsung than the 4G version, but as the name suggests, that’s the price to pay to benefit from 5G. We also note the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor instead of the Exynos 990. But overall, these two models offer the same performance. It benefits from a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and a 4500mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 128GB 5G for €979 instead of €1259 at Amazon

The Galaxy S22 Ultra is basically an iterative update to the S21 Ultra, but wrapped in a Galaxy Note-inspired chassis. It has the standard upgrades you’d expect in a next-gen smartphone – like the latest processor – but otherwise it’s very similar. It really feels like an update aimed at Galaxy Note fans, especially those who ditched the Note 20 Ultra and want to upgrade from the phone that was released two years ago.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G 128GB for €599 instead of €699 at Amazon

Samsung has well thought out its Galaxy Z Flip 3. The body, hinge and screen are made of materials that make the smartphone more durable, not forgetting that it is now waterproof. A larger secondary display, a quality primary display, and improved software put the Z Flip 3 on par with other $1,000 phones. This does not mean that the device is free from any defects. The battery life is poor, the internal screen still has a scratch, the smartphone is not dustproof and the long-term durability is unknown.
On Apple:
Apple iPhone 13 128GB for €859 instead of €909 on Amazon

The iPhone 13, like last year’s iPhone 12, is Apple’s most balanced formula. The new model monopolizes the strengths of its predecessor while exhibiting a little more serious autonomy. We can regret the impasse at the 120 Hz refresh rate intended for Pro models, but Apple offers us excellent image quality at 60 Hz. .
Apple iPhone 13 mini 128GB for €759 instead of €809 at Amazon

The iPhone 13 mini keeps the best of its predecessor and adds a few ingredients to an already proven recipe. Thus, we got a powerful compact smartphone with an excellent screen, an effective photo section and better autonomy. But if you own an iPhone 12 mini, the few differences between the two models are not enough to call it a purchase motivation.
Apple iPhone 14 128GB for €939 instead of €1019 at Cdiscount

Standard upgrades like the iPhone 14 are just for people who want a new iPhone to replace an older model. While the new iPhone Pros have the most notable new features, the features of the iPhone 14 are not essential. But it’s a nice familiar smartphone that most users will agree with.
On Xiaomi:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 4 + 128 GB for €179.99 instead of €239.99 at Cdiscount

OLED and 90 Hz screen, very good battery life and more than decent performance, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 does almost everything like its older brothers and therefore has arguments to be the benchmark in the segment of smartphones under 200 euros. However, the Chinese manufacturer may suffer from cannibalization between the old and the new generation, as the Redmi Note 10 Pro, which was launched last year at a price of €299, packs more premium features.
On Oppo:
Oppo Find X5 Pro 12 + 256 GB 5G for €884 instead of €999 on Amazon

All in all, we think the Find X5 Pro is an impressive phone for all its power and efficiency. We also appreciate the risk taken in terms of design with this photo unit that blends into the chassis. Of course, we would have liked to enjoy a better zoom, but the camera equipment is excellent and makes this phone worthy of your attention.
Oppo Find X5 Lite 8 + 256GB 5G for €399 instead of €499 at Amazon

Oppo Find X5 Lite
The Oppo Find X5 Lite is a complete mid-range smartphone, offering solid autonomy with fast charging and a very good daytime wide-angle module.
On Google:
Google Pixel 7 for €583 instead of €639 on Amazon

The Pixel 7 is a follow-up to the Pixel 6, offering a good combination of useful features, solid photo technology, and an affordable price. This comes after Google has tried several different strategies to differentiate its Pixel phones over the past few years.
Google Pixel 7 Pro for €799 instead of €899 on Amazon

The Pixel 7 Pro may not have the same flavor as last year’s Pixel 6 Pro, but it still has some notable improvements. The Pro’s €250 surcharge on the Pixel 7 is protected by a 48-megapixel telephoto lens as well as a larger screen.
Google Pixel 6a for €334 on Amazon instead of €459

Generation after generation, Google has been perfecting its recipe for cutting-edge smartphones. The inevitable compromises made to make the Pixel 6a more affordable than its big brother aren’t deal breakers at all. The finish level is very good, as is the performance. We think the key technical advantages and features that make the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro strong are the first, especially photography, autonomy and Android updates. Best choice at this price.
Sincerely:
Honor 70 + case on Amazon for €479.99 instead of €549.99

Aesthetically flawless, the Honor 70 delivers a smooth and seamless experience on Google OS. The photo component is not at the level of the Google Pixel 6, but the delivered shots remain fully usable. Finally, the newborn from the Chinese manufacturer has a comfortable autonomy and very practical charging technology. No wireless charging too bad. In short, this is a new good copy that Honor has put into our hands, a smartphone with a well-designed and balanced technical report is a pleasure to handle.
