Unlike other surveillance cameras, Netatmo Welcome adopts a truly aesthetic design. Its elegant golden color allows it to even become a decorative object and therefore easily blend into the interior. A possible unwanted visitor will see nothing but fire. In addition, due to its compact size, it is easy to find a place for it on a piece of furniture. Once installed, setup is very simple: before installing Netatmo Security, you just need to connect it to a Wi-Fi network so it can perform its mission.
Very practical features
With this app, you will be able to receive notifications on your smartphone as soon as the camera detects human or animal presence thanks to the motion detector integrated into the camera. Through the application, you will also be able to take photos of those entering your home. Indeed, the Netatmo Welcome camera is equipped with facial recognition technology to identify your family members (for whom you will have created a profile in the application) and at the same time and above all to detect the presence of external interference in your environment. If the camera recognizes a family member, that person’s name will appear on your smartphone so you don’t have to worry. If it’s an intruder, you’ll get a photo of it so you can raise the alert.

Otherwise, this surveillance camera is capable of capturing detailed images (in good light) at 1080p resolution. It even has infrared night vision to monitor your home at night, but the image quality will suffer a bit. Netatmo Welcome also has a 130° viewing angle horizontally, which allows it to monitor a very large area. And as a bonus, you’ll be able to see the camera’s video stream live from your smartphone at any time with sound. However, keep in mind that the camera is not equipped with a speakerphone for chatting with people in your home.
The images taken by the device can be saved to the SD card for input, which is secure enough to protect privacy. You can also sync your DropBox account or NAS with the app. Finally, the Netatmo Welcome indoor surveillance camera is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant voice assistants, as well as Apple HomeKit.
