AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT at the best price?
When AMD comes to tickle mid-tier Nvidia
Like Ryzen CPUs against Intel, AMD managed to carve out a significant niche for itself on the GPU side alongside ogre Nvidia for several generations. In particular, we find its RX 6700 XT model, the GPU that comes to compete with the RTX 3070 from the manufacturer to the chameleon. Its first advantage concerns the performance-price ratio, which is more interesting. The card from the RDNA 2 generation claims a maximum power consumption of 200 W, equal to Nvidia’s RTX 3060 Ti.
When it comes to video outputs, AMD does a pretty good job with an HDMI 2.1 port capable of handling 4K at 120 Hz or 8K at 60 Hz and three DisplayPort 1.4 ports. Finally, AMD is part of the first generation Ray Tracing compatible card, even if it’s not its strong point, especially in gaming.
Performance designed for maximum Full HD/QHD
The RX 6700 XT is generally between the 3060 TI and the Nvidia 3070 in terms of performance. As for the numbers, we are entitled to 40 Compute Units with a boost frequency of 2424 MHz, 96 MB of Cache and 12 GB of GDDR6 RAM. In general, the GPU is not designed for gaming up to 4K, but it is more comfortable at 1080p or even 1440p. Also, if your GPU is compatible with Ray Tracing, enabling it in games can seriously affect performance.
