With the Pixel 6, Google has managed to breathe new life into its smartphone lineup. The Pixel 7 comes as a slightly updated version, but it’s still affordable.

Like its predecessor, the Google Pixel 7 is a great smartphone. It benefits from a beautiful display, a powerful SoC and a pair of very good photo sensors. Additionally, its pricing position makes it more affordable than the vast majority of its high-end competitors without any real compromises. We can certainly blame it for gaming fever, always-slow charging, or too much resemblance to the Pixel 6, but these flaws are minimal in terms of the overall experience, which is more intuitive on Android 13.

A large smartphone with a completely redesigned design compared to the previous Pixels and quite the divider, the Pixel 6 Pro benefits from impeccable build quality as well as a beautiful adaptive 120 Hz Oled display. If we can regret its passable autonomy, the smartphone stands out among the premium models – a few hundred euros more than it – for its uncompromising power, but also for its versatility in photography, driven by Google’s algorithms, especially at night. Then a success.
