the Sperver Sagem is a military reconnaissance tactical drone (TUAV) designed and manufactured by Défense Sécurité.

The story

The Sperwer drone was obtained from the drone Kestrel (Kestrel can apply 🙂. Its development began in the mid-1990s.

The origin of the name

Sperver is a Dutch name kestrel (The Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) is a small, nimble bird of prey belonging to the… family). The Sperwer drone is named for the Dutch military, which was the first army to put it into service. This name belongs appearance (Sight is the sense that allows us to observe and analyze the environment through perception and…) piercing falcon (The term falcon is an ambiguous vernacular that does not correspond to a biological taxon…) kestrel. Crécerelle is also the name of Sagem Défense Sécurité’s previous drone system used in operations during the conflict in the former Yugoslavia.

Features and uses

Sperwer drone a plane (According to the official definition of the International Civil Aviation Organization, an airplane…) pilotless delta wing (A triangular wing is a type of aircraft wing characterized by the shape of an isosceles triangle. The name…) two-stroke two-piston engine and a spiral (Propeller is from the Greek word helix meaning “spiral”. An object shaped like…) 4 knives. Acts for lifting (Flight is the transition phase of an airplane through a state…) with a pneumatic catapult. L’landing (Landing etymologically refers to the fact of reaching land…) It is done using a parachute (A parachute is a device designed to slow motion, mostly vertically…) and airbag. His payload (Cargo means what it really is…) a together (In set theory, a set intuitively defines a collection…) gyroscopic cameras that allow you to take pictures from the air visible light (Visible light is also called the visible spectrum or the optical spectrum…) and in infrared (Infrared (IR) radiation is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength of…)tracking and targeting.

The Sperwer drone system consists of one transportation (A vehicle is a mobile machine that allows you to move people or goods from one place to another…) aerial carrier (the drone itself). to fill (Cargo means what it really is…) payload and ground segment enabling implementation and control (The word control can have several meanings. Inspection can be used as a synonym of the words of…) of the aircraft. The images taken by the drone are transmitted in real time to the ground segment, where they are analyzed by a specialized soldier.

Sperver-type drones are or are in service with six militaries under various names the world (May refer to the word world 🙂including the French military with its drone system SDTI (The Temporary Tactical Drone System (SDTI) belongs to the Sperwer family of companies…).
