HP 15s-fq5000nf vs the competition
HP 15s-fq5000nf currently on display Promotion in HP France and comes with Windows 11, making it one of the only companies in its category to offer such a new processor (Alder Lake).

It runs on Windows 11S, which is focused on security as it only allows installing apps from the Windows Store. If you want, you can exit S mode for free to switch to classic Windows 11, but you can’t go back to S mode afterwards.

The HP 15s-fq5014nf is a 15-inch High Definition notebook computer designed for everyday general-purpose mobile use.
It provides good performance in daily use such as web surfing and office automation, as it packs a good amount of 8GB of RAM paired with a low-powered Intel Alder Lake Core i3-1215U processor. The latter’s 6 hybrid cores reveal their full potential in multi-core applications.
Thanks to the Intel Iris Xe graphics module placed directly on the Core i3 Alder Lake-U, as a bonus, you can view photos and videos, as well as play light titles.
On the storage side, there’s an SSD that’s quieter, but also more robust and faster than a hard drive, consuming less power.
Specifically, thanks to the SSD, we get better fluidity and sensitivity in use, which means, for example, faster start/stop of software or even faster access to cards of online games.
On offer here is a 256GB SSD, a capacity less than half that offered by standard hard drives. Obviously, we can host software / light files and / or several. Of course, if you need more space, you can use an external storage device such as a USB-C / USB 3.0 device to take advantage of fast transfers.
As for the autonomy of this universal Ultrabook, made easy to carry thanks to its controlled weight and slimness, bet on the battery for about 7 hours in light use.
