Marques uses a OnePlus iPhone to reply to Brownlee’s tweet
Android smartphone manufacturers often use the iPhone to post tweets on Twitter, and this reckless act, on the other hand, does not always fall under the radar. This is what happened to OnePlus, a Chinese company founded in December 2013 and based in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province; The Chinese manufacturer tweets from his iPhone to respond to YouTuber Marques Brownlee (MKBHD).
Like every year, YouTuber Marques Brownlee, also known as MKBHD, releases a video in which he presents awards for the best smartphones in several categories. Here is the result for 2022:
- Best big phone: Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
- Best small phone: ASUS Zenfone 9
- Best Camera/Video: Apple iPhone 14 Pro
- Better autonomy: ASUS Rog Phone 6
- Best design: No phone (1)
- Best value: Google Pixel 7
- Biggest fiasco: OnePlus 10T
- Best Model (MVP): Google Pixel 7
- The most advanced smartphone: Google Pixel 7
OnePlus is the only manufacturer on the list that received a bad rating for smartphone of the year. Which would annoy the builder who decided to respond A tweet from MKBHD (shares the link of the said video with his followers on Twitter). “How can we claim our cup? We will prove you wrong in 2023. #OnePlus11”, he tweeted The official OnePlus Twitter account hinting at the OnePlus 11. But that’s not the point yet (after all, OnePlus has the right to reply to a tweet to claim something, right?); the adventure is that the manufacturer’s Twitter account does it from an iPhone.

Note, however, that Twitter recently removed the tag (Twitter for iPhone, Twitter for Android, etc.) that tells you which smartphone (app) a tweet came from. However, third-party apps like Tweetbot still display the data; This allowed Marques Brownlee to spot OnePlus’ famous bug.
