One UI 5: List of Samsung smartphones eligible for Android 13 update
Android 13 was made official on August 15. Since Samsung’s update policy is exemplary and transparent, as soon as the company releases the first stable version, the schedule for other models is announced. Find out when your Galaxy smartphone will get Android 13.
Samsung guarantees at least four years of major Android updates for its premium smartphones and up to five years of security updates for its latest smartphones.
While Google released Android 12 in October 2021, the search giant has been much faster this time with the release of Android 13 in mid-August. For Samsung, it shouldn’t change much from last year. According to Samsung’s update history, the first devices to get One UI 5’s new features will be the Galaxy S22 line and the latest foldable smartphones.
According to the schedule announced by Samsung in South Korea, every eligible Galaxy S, Z and Note will start receiving Android 13 by December. Some mid-range models in the Galaxy A line will even start receiving the update in November.
